The word "Selah" in the Bible means to pause & reflect. At Empowerment, Fridays are intentionally different. At Empowerment Leadership Academy, we believe students need more than traditional academics—they need opportunities to pause, engage deeply, explore purpose, and apply what they learn in meaningful ways. That is why Fridays are dedicated to S.E.L.A.H. S.E.L.A.H. Fridays are immersive learning experiences designed to move education beyond the four walls of a classroom. Through field trips, leadership development, entrepreneurship, service projects, collaborative learning, guest speakers, and hands-on experiences, students are challenged to think critically, lead confidently, and connect learning to the real world.

These intentional Fridays create space for students to reflect, grow, build character, strengthen leadership skills, and discover how their gifts can impact the world around them. At Empowerment Leadership Academy, S.E.L.A.H. Fridays are not just a break from learning—they are where learning comes to life.
