Dr. Ulelia Childs is an educator, instructional leader, and visionary with over 15 years of experience in education. She has served as an English Language Arts teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal, and has supervised campus principals while leading high-impact professional development for English teachers and school leaders.
Known for blending academic rigor with relational leadership, Dr. Childs is deeply committed to creating learning environments where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to thrive. As the founder of Empowerment Leadership Academy, she brings her passion for purpose-driven education, leadership development, and student advocacy to a school designed to build confidence, competence, and character—one learner at a time.
